My name is Jacob. I was born and raised in Jacksonville. The southern city whose denizens often lament its apparent lack of any real culture. The city really is a shining gem if you look at it in the right light, and there are a lot of talented individuals making an effort to increase our cultural value. My goal is to add to the current rise of music, art, and literature within this city.

I’ve been writing off and on since late 2009, and I've lived more in my imagination than the real world since I was born. A fact that was pretty detrimental to my performance as a student. I can't say that its been beneficial to my development as an adult, but it’s there, and I refuse to let it die now. Thus, I write. As time has gone on I've slowly abandoned the fear of sharing my work and consistently received positive responses as a result. It inspired a rather fun transition from "you don't really want to read this, its not that good," to "Hey! Look at this thing I did!" There's a big difference between close friends and faceless strangers however, which is an experience I'm simultaneously dreading and eager to have. 

I frequently write stories within the fantasy world I've been nurturing for the last six years that I call 'Taress'. However, I'm going to be kicking this off with a story set beyond our world's apocalypse about a man called Jack Growler and his friends, The Razorblade Rascals.
